September/October 2012. We had a another trip during Autumn to Iceland, and were very lucky with the weather and the Northern lights. The first week of the trip was spent in the fantastic Westfjords, and the 2nd week was spent in the south around Laki, Landmannalaugur and the area around Geysir.
July 2012. Mike had a short trip to Iceland during July, and had a fantastic trip, in good weather. Laki, Thorsmork, Landmannalaugur, Langjokull and the area around Geysir were visited. A trip to the top Eyrafallajokull to see the site of the last eruption being a high spot of the trip.
March 2012. We had a shorter trip than expected to Iceland as the truck had an engine blow-up after the first week, so the vacation was cut short. However we had a spectacular time during the first week, including an amzing northern lights show.

 

September 2011. We decided to go back to Iceland to the Westfjords in the Autumn to see the colours and of course the Northern lights. We also visited the Myvatn area, southern Iceland including Thorsmork and the Laki areas. We were very lucky with the weather, and we were rewared by many good sights.

March 2011. We went bak to Iceland and achieved our dream which was to cross Vatnajokull in winter. It was a fantastic trip with mostly good weather, and lots of Northern lights. We were a party of 12 and used 4 trucks a 38", a 44" and two 46" equiped Land cruisers.

July 2010. We went on a long weekend trip to Iceland and spent some time in the mountains to the North of the Myrdalsjokull icecap. Good weather and amazing scenery. We also visited the area that was devastated by the floods from the recent eruptions .

May 2010. Decided to go and see the anotherVolcanic eruption in Iceland this time at Eyrafallajokull. It was just mind blowing.

Easter 2010. Decided to go and see the Volcanic eruption near Fimmvörduháls. We were greeted by a amazing sight, with lave falls and fountains. We even saw the northern lights each night.

Feb/Mar 2010.Another incredible trip back to Iceland. Crossed Langjokull south to north, and also went to Askja in the highlands. I have also included a few photos of the Northern lights.

Antarctica trip Nov 2009, - I have started to upload some videos from this amazing trip

Antarctica trip Nov 2009, I had an amazing oportunity to go on an expedition to this amazing place. Objective involved the driving of two Icelandic modified Toyotas through Dronnings Maud Land and on til 83 degrees South. Examined a crashed plane site and set up a fuel dump for future logistics. Experienced -54 C temperatures and fantastic scenery.

June visit to Trondheim and Døvrefjell. This is Norway,s 2nd largest city in the north of the country, and Dovrefjell is up in the mountains about 2 hr on the train from Trondheim.

June July 2009 its Noctilucent clouds season again, so lots of late nights trying to capture these colourful night clouds - see photos in photo section.

March - April 2009 - Winter trip to Iceland with our truck, plus friend Odd Joars truck, both on 44" tyres.
Jan 26th 2009 - At 0650 there was a fantastic show of light pillars which were visible from our house
Dec 2008 Been out taking winter photos including Nacreous clouds which seem to be quite common this year
Dec 2008 - decided to send truck to Iceland to get it upgraded to 44" - I must be mad. It will have beadlocks, and crawler gears. Anyway it will be ready for March 2009 when we go back to Iceland for yet another winter vaction

Summer 2008 - started seeing lots of Noctilucent clouds, so there has been lots of late nights in order that we can capture these fantastic night glowing clouds
June/July 2008 10 days trip back to the England and Scotland, also saw Bon Jovi in London
Feb/March 2008 winter trip to Iceland - Just added some photos and vidoes from the adventure. We had a fantastic time, and took 20GB of photo's!
December 2007 - Christmas at Hovden in Norway
August 8th - Rolling Stones in Olso. Went to a classic concert at Valle Hovin in Olso with about 40,000 others. Had a lot of fun!
